Chris Hilton

A former factory worker, a dealer in modern first editions, a landscape gardener and a part-time university lecturer (among other occupations), Chris Hilton has visited Cuba over thirty times and has lived there twice. The events described in The Attraction of Cuba took place in the early 2000s, during the final years of Fidel Castro and the coming of the internet, and proved to be life-changing for those involved: the author, his friends and his enemies.
